A soft periwinkle blue, the beads in this bracelet are like a string of little springtime flowers. This is called "Ocean Quartz", which is a man-made quartz and essentially glass. A swirl of silver wire wraps around each bead, while a strand of wire running through the middle keeps this bangle bracelet in an smooth oval shape, all the better to hang neatly on your wrist. The hook and loop clasp is made by hand and is an integral part of the piece. A small decorative swirl of wire (not pictured) adorns the outside of each side of the clasp.

In this piece yellow gold-filled wire wraps around rich green Malachite beads like ribbons. Malachite is a stone that has quite a bit of visual depth in it; each bead has small bands of color that give it an extra pull for the eye. It's also a soft stone, though, so you should be a bit careful of this piece and treat it more like you would pearls or coral jewelry. It can be polished, but has to be done carefully and without too hard products. Note: this particular bangle does not have the small wire swirls on the outside of the clasp ends as the others of similar design do.

The rich tones of Lapis Lazuli, used in the jewelry of the Pharaohs, are now available to us all. Gold-filled wire beautifully frames the lapis in this bangle bracelet of 4 and 6mm round beads. Lapis is also a somewhat soft stone and will benefit from a bit more care. You should especially avoid harsh cleansers with this stone. Small swirls of wire adorn the outside of the integrated handmade clasp. A deep rich blue, this picture is pretty dark — sorry!

Gold-filled wire surrounds rich mahogany-colored tiger eye beads (this picture is a bit dark too). Tiger eye has a quality called "chatoyance", which means that there's a 3D sort-of effect when you turn the beads back and forth. These have an amazing amount of chatoyance, coming together to create an incredible piece that's even more impressive in person than in the picture. Small swirls of wire adorn the outside of the integrated handmade clasp.

This bangle, made from a different tone of the Ocean Blue "Quartz" also shown above, is the color of what you'd always imagine the purest water looks like. A beautiful translucent turquoise, this stone paired with the brightness of silver just speaks summer to me. Small swirls of wire adorn the outside of the integrated handmade clasp. (and this picture's a bit light — the color is more of a true turquoise)

This rich purple, beautifully dyed "jade" (a loosely used term in beads) really brings out the color of the sterling silver wound around it. I don't normally go into team or other organization's colors, but I have to admit this bracelet reminded me of Viking purple, and ... well ... living in the land of the Vikings, I can imagine this dressing up your jersey nicely on game days when you have to work.

And, of course, where there are Vikings fans there are Packers fans. Actually - I think there are Packers fans everywhere, from my experience :) For those of you who would rather wear the green and gold, take a look at this bangle. Green Jade rounds with smaller "Honey" Jade beads in between, this piece also has an understated elegance that would go with everything from summer florals to the rich tones of fall/winter wardrobes.
Note: while I haven't done these for any other teams, I have a great local source for round beads of every color, so if there's a color or colors you'd like me to track down please let me know via the Special Orders page. Price may vary depending on the stones and wire used.

Argentium Sterling Silver has many interesting properties - one of my favorites is that it can be heat–hardened without a kiln. This means that I can use softer wire to form into smooth swirls, then heat the piece to lock it into that shape. This is a bracelet that holds its shape beautifully, springing back into shape easily after you clasp it with the built in hook. Let me know your wrist size when you order.

Playing around with patterns that would work well with the springiness of heat–hardened Argentium Sterling Silver wire, this simple bracelet is a formed bangle on the bottom, with a bow of Argentium wire wrapped up with thinner Argentium wire. Obviously this pattern has exposed edges that might catch on clothing, but in reality that hasn't proven to be a problem for me as long as you don't wear it with long, loose weave sleeves. Let me know your wrist size when you order.

One last in this series of Argentium wire bangle bracelets, this one is a bit less structured. Featuring a rather large double spiral on the top of the wrist and a simple bangle rounding it out, this is also currently made as a slightly larger bracelet (perhaps for a 7-7.5" wrist) but could be made to fit any wrist. Let me know your wrist size when you order.
